Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ), the national flag carrier of Jordan, has appointed Simon Air Travels Limited as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Bangladesh, marking the commencement of its formal operations in the country. This announcement was made on Friday, December 6, by Afsia Jannat Saleh, the Managing Director of Simon Air Travels, through a press release.
Simon Air Travels will now handle ticket sales, marketing, and complete customer and agent support for Royal Jordanian Airlines in Bangladesh. Starting December 8, the airline will offer offline ticket sales in the country, with plans to transition to online operations in the near future.
Afsia Jannat noted, “Initially, the airline will begin its activities in Bangladesh through offline ticket sales, but it will move to online platforms very soon.” Royal Jordanian Airlines currently operates direct flights from Amman, the capital of Jordan, to over 45 destinations and connects to more than 50 additional points globally.
