Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Limited (BSCCL) has announced scheduled maintenance for the SEA-ME-WE-4 submarine cable system connecting Cox’s Bazar to Chennai and Singapore. The maintenance is planned for Sunday, December 1, during the early hours, potentially disrupting internet services nationwide for approximately three hours.
Scheduled Disruption:
- Time: 3:00 AM to 5:59 AM (Bangladesh Standard Time)
- Purpose: Rectifying faults at the Chennai Landing Station (India) and Tuas Landing Station (Singapore).
During this period, circuits on the Cox’s Bazar-Chennai and Cox’s Bazar-Singapore routes may face temporary service interruptions. The BSCCL has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to users.
