In the wake of shifting dynamics following the student-public uprising in July-August, the 9th BCS Forum underwent a structural overhaul. A special general meeting held on November 21 unanimously decided to dissolve the previous executive committee and form a new 41-member executive body for the 2024-2026 term.
New Leadership
The forum elected retired Additional Secretary Mohammad Abul Kalam as President and ICT Division Secretary Shish Hayder Chowdhury as General Secretary to ensure smooth operation and continuity of its activities.
Previous Committee
The previous executive committee, formed under the leadership of then-Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, Md. Tofazzel Hossain Miah, commenced its tenure on January 26, 2023.
The restructured committee aims to address the challenges faced and ensure the forum remains functional and effective in its objectives.
