From October 19 to November 1, Realme organized the “Unleash Your Creativity – National Mobile Photography Contest 2024,” drawing over 3,000 participants who submitted more than 14,000 photographs.
After an extensive selection process, the top 50 entries were shortlisted on November 7. Among these, Muhammad Amir emerged as the Grand Winner, earning a Realme 12 smartphone. Shams Nayeem was declared the First Runner-Up, while Kishore Bhattacharya secured the Second Runner-Up position.
Special recognition for outstanding contributions went to Sushmit Das and Tajuddin Ahmed Azam, while Mobi-Chobial received accolades for meaningful, story-based mobile photography.
An award ceremony was held on November 14 at the Knowledge Gallery of Daffodil International University (DIU), where winners received their prizes.
Realme Bangladesh announced on Sunday that the judging panel included renowned photographer Joy K. Roy Chowdhury, celebrated for his work in street photography, and lifestyle and documentary photography expert Tahanan Ferdous. Additionally, curators Rakib Hasan Suman and Ehsanul Siddiqui Aranya, known for their expertise in street and travel photography, lent their experience to the selection process.
