Jahangirnagar University Debating Organization (JUDO) emerged as champions, while Jagannath University Debating Society (JnUDS) secured the runners-up position in the Inter-University Debate Competition hosted by Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), Gazipur.
The grand finale took place on Saturday, November 16, at the DUET auditorium. Prizes were awarded by DUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Joynal Abedin. Other notable attendees included Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Kawsar Abedin, Director of Student Welfare Dr. Utpal Kumar Das, Supreme Court Lawyer Al-Mamun Russell, and popular motivational speaker Engineer Hasan Mahmud.
The competition saw participation from 24 universities across the country. The two-day event featured group stage matches, with eight teams advancing to the quarterfinals. The top four teams then competed in the semifinals, culminating in a spectacular grand finale between JUDO and JnUDS.
