Sylhet, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) is set to host Mastermind 2.0, a national-level business case competition organized by the SUST Career Club on November 22. This year, the event carries the theme “Where Strategy Meets Technology” and offers a total prize pool of BDT 100,000 for the champion and runner-up teams.
Club President Shabrina Afroze Mitu announced that Ayman Sadiq will inaugurate the competition on November 22. The abstract submission round will take place online on December 4, followed by the semifinal on December 10, and the grand finale on December 15. Registration, which began on October 25, will remain open until November 27.
Highlighting the competition’s impact, Mitu stated, “This initiative aims to foster creativity and leadership skills among students.” The winning team will receive BDT 50,000, the first runner-up BDT 30,000, and the second runner-up BDT 20,000. Additionally, the champion team will enjoy a complimentary stay at Waterlily Resort in Sreemangal.
Participants are required to register for a fee of BDT 410. They will showcase their ability to solve real-world business and technological challenges through innovative strategies. The competition is open to students from both public and private universities across Bangladesh.
