In the latest instance, college student Md. Rashed Ali from Meherpur received 2 million BDT upon purchasing a Walton refrigerator. Previously, a motor laborer from Dinajpur named Rana Islam had won the same amount through the campaign.
Walton’s Digital Campaign, which aims to provide rapid, automated post-sales service, offers a range of benefits to encourage customer participation. As part of Season 21, buyers of Walton refrigerators, TVs, washing machines, and BLDC ceiling fans have a chance to win 2 million BDT, along with additional guaranteed prizes worth millions. This campaign runs until December 31, 2024.
On Monday, November 11, 2024, Walton’s Senior Executive Director, popular film actor Amin Khan, presented a check for 2 million BDT to Rashed Ali and his family in Gangni Bazaar, Meherpur. The event was attended by senior Walton officials, including Senior Executive Director and Head of Distributor Network Sales Firoz Alam, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Galib Bin Mohammad, Deputy CMO Zoheb Ahmed, Executive Director Md. Monirul Haque, and Mahabubul Bari, proprietor of Walton’s local distributor showroom, Saju Enterprise, along with local dignitaries.
Rashed Ali, who hails from Bathanpara, Raipur Union in Gangni upazila, lives with his parents and grandmother. A second-year higher secondary student at Gangni Degree College, he also assists his father in farming. Rashed explained his preference for Walton refrigerators, citing their competitive pricing, durability, rapid servicing, and appealing design. On October 27, he purchased a refrigerator from Walton’s distributor showroom, Saju Enterprise, in Gangni Bazaar. After digitally registering the product, Rashed soon received an SMS from Walton informing him of his 2 million BDT prize, which he confirmed at the showroom.
Expressing gratitude, Rashed stated, “With this prize from Walton, I’ll work towards establishing myself. Thank you to Walton for providing this opportunity to customers.”
