In a strategic shift from voice to data, Banglalink, the third-largest mobile operator by subscribers, has launched its new AI-powered digital lifestyle app, “Rise.” At a vibrant event held in the capital on Sunday night, attended by influencers, content creators, and media representatives, Banglalink unveiled the app’s unique features, including an exclusive “unlimited internet” option that works across all networks.
Banglalink Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Taimur Rahman inaugurated the app, highlighting features such as limitless streaming, digital content, and gamification elements. Veon Group CEO Kaan Terzioğlu expressed hopes that “Rise” would support a more connected digital Bangladesh, while Banglalink CEO Erik Aas stated that the AI-enhanced features will deliver an exceptional user experience across learning, entertainment, and lifestyle, aligning with the needs of a digital-first generation.
