Following a temporary suspension, the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) pass registration and renewal services for Dhaka Metro Rail have resumed. The services, managed by Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), were reopened on Sunday, November 3.
DMTCL announced the reinstatement of the MRT pass services on its verified Facebook page, stating, “MRT card re-issue registration and re-issue services have resumed from today. Thank you for your cooperation.”
Earlier, on the evening of November 1, DMTCL had announced that MRT pass registration and renewal services would be paused until November 7. However, the company has restarted the services after just two days.
