On Saturday, November 2, Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) hosted a “Monthly Programming Contest” organized by the DUET Computer Society (DCS) to encourage students’ interest and enthusiasm in programming. With guidance from executive members of DCS, the contest was executed by Vice President Anik Deb, Algorithm Secretary Rakib Hossain, and Treasurer Sajibur Rahman.
Tanvir Ahmed, President of DCS, shared that the society aims to equip students with essential skills for the information technology sector through initiatives such as monthly programming contests, cybersecurity workshops, and programming training sessions. “We plan to hold these monthly programming contests regularly to maintain continuous engagement,” he added.
The contest received technical support from DUET’s CSE department, with Assistant Professor Khaja Imran Masud, the moderator of DCS, providing valuable insights and guidance throughout the event.
