Private commercial bank Prime Bank PLC has introduced the ‘Advance Salary’ service for its payroll clients, allowing employees of companies using the bank’s payroll services to access salary advances via the Prime Mobile app. This service was formalized through an agreement with Dutch-Bangla Pack Limited at Prime Bank’s corporate office in Gulshan.
The agreement was signed by Faisal Rahman, Additional Managing Director (AMD) of Prime Bank, and Abdul Mumit, Managing Director of Dutch-Bangla Pack Limited, representing their respective organizations.
Also present at the signing were Mamur Ahmed, Head of Consumer Sales at Prime Bank PLC; Md. Asif Bin Idris, SEVP and Head of Commercial Banking Division; Abdullah Al Mamun, Head of Finance at Dutch-Bangla Pack Limited; and Maria Tripti, Senior Officer (Sustainability and Planning), along with other senior officials from both organizations.
Through this agreement, Dutch-Bangla Pack employees using Prime Bank’s payroll services can now access the ‘PrimeAgreem’ platform, which is AI-driven to facilitate salary advances. Designed to meet urgent financial needs of partner company employees, the platform aims to make the process seamless and efficient.
Prime Bank has stated that the PrimeAgreem service utilizes artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and alternative credit assessment tools, allowing real-time evaluation of clients’ creditworthiness and digital loan disbursement without the need for manual documentation. This service saves both time and effort for clients.
