A seminar titled ‘Outcome Based Education and Excellence in Teaching and Learning was held at University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) University Auditorium. The seminar discusses the knowledge and skills needed by newly recruited teachers to improve teaching practices in their pursuit of Outcome Based Education.
A total of 24 teachers from ten departments participated in it. Speakers shed light on OBE principles, effective teaching methods and assessment techniques. UITS Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hasan Bhuiyan was the chief guest at the seminar organized by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) of the university on Tuesday.
Under the management of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Director Engineer Md. Safayet Hossain, Treasurer of UITS Professor Dr. Siraj Uddin Ahmed spoke. Shamima Akhter, Additional Director, IQAC and Assistant Professor, Department of Business Studies, also discussed the topic ‘Teaching and Learning Pedagogy’.
