Steadfast Courier, a top product transportation service provider, has stood by the flood victims with financial support and logistics services worth about half a crore taka. The organization has expressed its determination to stand by the victims with the best of their abilities in this terrible flood in the memory of the country in Feni, Noakhali, Cumilla, Laxmipur, Brahmanbaria, Cox’s Bazar, Khagrachari, Chittagong, Habiganj, Moulvibazar.
In a press release on Saturday, the organization informed that Steadfast has already donated Tk 2 million to the relief fund of As-Sunnah Relief Foundation to help the flood victims. Apart from this, about 25 lakh taka worth of relief materials are being distributed among the affected people from the donation of Steadfast officers and employees and from the institutional fund.
KM Ridwanul Bari Zion, the founder and managing director of Steadfast Courier, said that “Steadfast has participated in the relief program since last Wednesday. Steadfast will continue to support the affected people with all our capabilities until the situation returns to normal. About 10-12 trucks of Steadfast are being provided free of charge, apart from monetary and relief material assistance. If any person, organization wants to reach the relief material, then Steadfast can arrange this transport facility for free. This relief program is being carried out on a steady institutional basis and with the cooperation and labor of all the workers.
