Finally, the temporary obstacle in obtaining government information was removed. An order has been given on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from the Directorate of Information to attach 13 officials to serve the responsibility of information and public relations in the ministry.
The order signed by Senior Deputy Chief Information Officer Munshi Jalal Uddin said that until further orders, BCS (General Information) cadre members of this department have been attached to these ministries to perform information and public relations duties.
According to the attached list, Muhammad Jasim Uddin has been appointed as the Information Officer of the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology.
The other information officers who will serv in different ministries are: Faisal Hasan in Ministry of Home Affairs; Kamrul Islam Bhuiyan in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Alamgir Hossain in primary and mass education; Rezaul Karim in the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs; Mahbubur Rahman in Health and Family Planning; Mohammad Sayem Hossain in the Ministry of Industry; Muhammad Giyas Uddin in Social Welfare Ministry, Abu Bakar Siddique in Religious Affairs; Muhammad Shahadat Hossain in Liberation War;
In Fisheries and Animal Resources ministry, Paban Chowdhury; Mohammad Shafiullah, in Local Government and Ministry of Youth and Sports; and Md Noor Alam have been made Senior Information Officers.
