Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman advised to be aware of various rumors going on in social media. Besides, he has given instructions to perform duties with honesty, truthfulness and justice.
He gave this instruction during the ‘Officer’s Address’ as part of the regular program at Army Headquarters Helmet Auditorium on Saturday (August 3). Waker-Uz-Zaman shed light on the current security issues of the country to the army officers. He gave various directions about the activities of the army and answered their questions.
The army chief said, ‘Bangladesh army is a symbol of the confidence of the people of the country. Bangladesh Army is and will always be with the people for the sake of the people and for any need of the state.’
Besides, he asked to ensure the safety of people’s life and property and important state institutions in any situation.
Senior military officers from headquarters, formation commanders from all cantonments and all ranks of army officers participated in the ceremony through video teleconference (VTC).
