Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, ‘Our goal is to build a smart Bangladesh in the future. Our aim is to give more training to our young society in digital devices, to educate them, to provide technical-vocational training.’
The PM shared her plans in an exchange program with local and foreign observers and journalists at Ganobhaban on Monday, January 8 at 3:30 pm.
The Prime Minister said, we will prepare for the fourth industrial revolution and will make our young generation in that way.
The Awami League president said, United Nations Sustainable Development Goal has been given till 2030, we have requested to increase it till 32. We are also implementing those goals. We will do whatever is effective for our country. Our goal is 2041, when Bangladesh will be a Smart Bangladesh. There will be no destitute people then. We will reduce the poverty rate. I will create job opportunity for every citizen. Everyone’s basic needs of food, shelter and education will be ensured; what we so far have done will be more sustainable.
She also said, Bangabandhu satellite 1 has been launched, 2 is in the pipeline. We will launch more advanced satellites for communication. We have that plan. Moreover, we have taken the development of the communication system to the village level. We will complete at the remaining places.
