‘Go ahead of time’; this is the tagline Honda declared while launched the BS-6 engine bike for the first time in Bangladesh. Honda’s ‘SP125’ motorcycle in blue, red, black and gray colors was unveiled at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the capital to ensure a quick and silent start. BHL Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Shigero Matsuzaki and Chief Marketing Officer Shah Mohammad Ashekur Rahman and others were present on the occasion.
Bangladesh Honda Private Limited (BHL) introduced the motorcycle on Saturday afternoon. They claim that the bike worth Tk. 1 lakh 63 thousand will run 68 kilometers on 1 liter of fuel.
Honda Bangladesh said, this new motorbike has modern facilities including full digital meter, eco indicator, real time mileage, average mileage, distance to empty, service due indicator, gear indicator.

The Honda CB Sign SP had wheel sizes of Front-80/100-18 and Rear-80/100-18. However, the new SP-125 has a slightly wider rear wheel. Its front wheel size is 80/100-18 and rear wheel size is 100/80-18. With the CBS braking system, the bike will brake more smoothly as the wheel is wider. The bike also has a side-stand engine cut-off feature, meaning the rider cannot start the bike with the side-stand down. Honda has said that this feature-rich bike will provide a mileage benefit of up to 68 kilometers per liter.
