Grameenphone Employees Union’s registration day was celebrated in a grand ceremony on Tuesday (March 7) at GP House premises by the general workers of the organization. The event was attended by the Head of Industrial Relations of Telenor Group, CEO of Grameenphone Yasir Azman and CHRO Syed Tanveer Hossain along with top officials of Grameenphone Management Board.
The registration day was celebrated by cutting a cake and distributing gifts as tokens of love at the same time on the occasion of the GPEU registration day program with the spontaneous participation of general members, leaders and GP management members of GPEU.
Speaking on behalf of GP Management, CEO Yasir Azman, CHRO Mr. Syed Tanveer Hossain and IR Head K.M. Sabbir Ahmed. Acting President Mr. Fazlul Haque, General Secretary Matuz Al Qadri spoke from GPEU.
Meanwhile, GPEU also celebrated International Women’s Day due on March 8 as it is a holiday on account of Shab-e Barat. The leaders of GPEU congratulated all the women colleagues with flowers at GP House. Simultaneously, the registration day is celebrated by distributing flowers to women employees in all circle offices. All the employees dressed in pink and purple colors as per women’s day theme and made the event festive and colorful.
