Minister of State for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said that to get the benefits of the fourth industrial revolution-4IR, scientific practice should be increased at a large rate. The more the use of artificial intelligence can be increased, the faster it will be possible to move towards sustainable development. Cashless society is gradually developing in Bangladesh as well.
He said these things while addressing the chief guest at the opening ceremony of ’14th DRMC-Summit National Science Carnival-2023′ at Dhaka Residential Model College on Friday.
Nasrul Hamid said that the best scientists of the country will come out of these events who will cross the borders of the country and present Bangladesh to the world. Sustainable electricity and energy system will be built based on the context of Bangladesh. (News BSS)
Congratulating the Dhaka Residential Model College team for winning the ‘Zayed Sustainability Prize 2023’, he said that if there is concentration, the youth of Bangladesh will do better in the future. The government is cooperating in various ways. Bangladesh Energy and Power Research Council is providing necessary financial and other support for research to increase the efficiency of the energy and power sector, to find new innovative technologies and methods for the development of financially affordable and environmentally friendly sustainable energy.
Project display, wall paper, scrap book display, photography exhibition, olympiads, IQ test, science fiction writing, illustration exhibition, poster designing exhibition, gaming contest, line following, quiz etc., Sudoku competitions, science-based lectures and robotics workshop competitions were organized in this three-day science festival from January 27-29 with the participation of 450 educational institutions.
