Meanwhile, the US-based Research Institute of Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) has said in a forecast that in 2023, more than one million people may die of corona in China.
On Friday, IHME director Christopher Murray said, according to the forecast, the corona infection in China will be at its peak around April 1 next year. By that time of the year, one-third of China’s total population will be infected with the virus. And the number of deaths due to Corona will reach 3 lakh 22 thousand.
Meanwhile, the information given by the University of Hong Kong says that between December 2022 and January 2023, corona restrictions will be lifted from various provinces in China. During this period, 684 out of every 1 million people may die of corona in the country.
