The Microsoft-owned social platform has been testing the new feature internally for the past few months. All preparations have already been completed to launch the feature on schedule.
According to the news, users who get the feature will see a small clock icon next to the post button inside the message compose box. Clicking on the icon will bring up a new option, where you can set the post time by selecting a specific date and a slot arranged as every half hour.
Currently this feature is available on third party platforms like Hootsuite and Buffer. However, many are reluctant to give third-party platforms access to their LinkedIn accounts due to data security concerns. In that case, as a result of LinkedIn’s own feature, those users will be interested in using the feature.
