Foodpanda co-founder Syed Ambarin Reza (453) got the highest number of votes in the competitive election of 2022-24 of the Executive Council of E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (E-CAB). Meanwhile, Mohammad Abdul Wahed Tamal, chief executive of Kamzegat Technologies, was re-elected with 386 votes, Shami Kaiser with 365 votes and Asif Ahnaf with 332 votes.
Besides, Shahriar Hasan, co-founder of Paperfly, got 306 votes and was elected as a new director of the 4th e-Cab Executive Committee.
Besides, Nasima Akter Nisha, CEO of Rewari got 306 votes, Mohammad Sahab Uddin, founder of Diabetes store got 287 votes and Saidur Rahman, CEO of Digital Hub got 273 votes. Ilmul Haque, founder of Seba XYZ, has been firstime elected as the executive member of e-Cab with 280 votes.
As a panel, Agrogami bagged 8 directors out of 9.
77 percent of the vote was cast in the election. Although there were 54 voters outside the country, 611 out of 795 voters cast their ballots. 10 votes were canceled.
The voting started at 10:05 a.m. on Saturday at the Sayeedena Community Center in Dhanmondi and ended at 4:15 p.m. The counting of votes started from 5:30 pm.

He thanked the voters, candidates, officials, volunteers, supporters, observers, e-cab secretariat and all those involved in law and order for the smooth and fair voting.
