Honor unveiled their first foldable smartphone since the teaser was released last December. By entering the foldable marketplace, Honor is going to be listed as a favorite of former proprietors Huawei and another Chinese company Xaomi. News Engadget.
Like Samsung’s Z-Fold device, the Honor’s ‘Magic V’ model has a dual screen. It has a 6.45 inch 431 ppi external display with a resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels. The display also has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and an aspect ratio of 21: 9.
When unfolded, users will get a 7.9-inch display, which is a 381 ppi display. It has a resolution of 2272 x 1980 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and an aspect ratio of 10: 9.
Both LED screens are relatively larger than the display of the Galaxy Z Fold 3. In addition, the Magic V’s display supports DCI-P3 color 100%. Honor claims that the Magic V is the first foldable smartphone to receive IMAX enhanced certification.
The Magic V smartphone has a total of five cameras. It has a wide camera, an ultra wide camera and a 50 megapixel sensor in each of the spectrum enhanced cameras. And both screens have a 42 megapixel selfie camera.
In addition to Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chips, the phone has 12 GB of RAM and a maximum of 512 GB of storage. The dual SIM-enabled FiveG phone comes with a 4750 mAh battery that will support 60 watts of charging. The phone can be fully charged in just 40 minutes or 50 percent charge in 15 minutes.
