Cyber security company ‘Surfshark’ has recently released a report on ‘Digital Quality of Life Index-2021’. This information has come up in the report.
According to the report, Bangladesh ranks 16th in terms of broadband internet stability, 44th in terms of broadband internet speed growth and 53rd in terms of mobile internet stability.
Bangladesh has surpassed Pakistan in terms of broadband internet speed. Bangladesh ranks 81st and Pakistan 108th in terms of broadband internet speed.
On the other hand, Pakistan lags behind Bangladesh in terms of mobile internet stability. Bangladesh surpassed India and Pakistan in terms of broadband internet stability.
Bangladesh is ahead of India and Pakistan in terms of electronic infrastructure. In electronic infrastructure, Bangladesh ranks 89th, India 91st and Pakistan 106th.
According to the Digital Quality of Life Index, Bangladesh ranks 103rd out of 110 countries in the world and 30th out of 32 countries in Asia. Compared to 2020, Bangladesh has deteriorated by 25 steps.
Bangladesh lags behind other countries in terms of mobile speed, network readiness and artificial intelligence readiness.
According to the Digital Quality of Life Index, Bangladesh ranks 84th in terms of internet purchasing power, 89th in terms of internet quality, 103rd in terms of electronic security and 86th in terms of electronic government.
