A roundtable discussion titled “A New Beginning” will be held on Saturday, October 12, at the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro auditorium in the capital, focusing on the use of technology for inclusive development. The discussion, aimed at outlining strategies to eliminate inequalities through technology in urban life, will take place from 10 AM to 1 PM.
Special guests at the event include Ashiq Chowdhury, Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), and Mahmud Hossain, Commissioner of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).
The roundtable, organized by the Technology Industry Policy Advocacy Platform (TIPA), will feature two presentations from the organization’s coordinators, Fahim Mashroor and Fida Haque, addressing the current state of affairs. According to the organizers, representatives from both public and private sectors in the country’s technology industry will share their insights at the event.
