Bangladesh’s Team Atlas and Code Black have won gold medals in a global innovation competition at the university level. The three-day event, which saw participation from over 145 teams representing more than 21 countries, including host Indonesia, India, the United States, Mexico, and the UAE, awarded the two teams with honors in the IT and Robotics segments.
The World Invention Competition and Exhibition 2024, organized by the Indonesian Young Scientists Association (IYSA), was held at Malaysia’s MAHSA University campus from September 21 to 25. The results were announced on Tuesday night, Bangladesh time.
Team Atlas was awarded the gold medal and a special IYSA award for their innovative bot and drone solution designed for agricultural use. Additionally, Bangladesh’s first all-female robotics team, Code Black, won the gold medal at the Malaysian Innovation, Invention, and Creativity (MIICA) competition.
