Domestic automobile company Runner Motors Limited has unveiled a range of state-of-the-art Eicher Pro 2000 and 6000 series commercial trucks as part of the joint venture. All six trucks in the series have air-conditioned cabins for a relaxing drive. But safety technology is used in the seat belt so that he does not fall asleep. It will notify him when fatigue occurs and even prevent him from driving. Also, instead of five gears, smooth gear like auto gear, steering facility has been added to the trucks.
Six trucks in white, yellow and blue colors were introduced at a press conference at International Convention City, Bashundhara Hall No. 3 on Thursday. The models are: Eicher Pro 2049, 2055CT, 6031H, 6031T and 6049.
Hafizur Rahman Khan, Chairman of Runner Group and Shantanu Srivastav, Regional Head of Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles, South Asia and ASEAN countries including Bangladesh were present at the press conference.
Among others, Runner Group Vice Chairman Mozammel Hossain, Eicher and Runner’s senior officials were present.
At the beginning of the press briefing, Senior GM of Runner Motors Feroz Kabir highlighted the details of all the vehicles and said that Runner Motors is working to enrich the digital economy of the country along with the prosperity of the transport sector. In the future, Volvo Eicher’s series of cars will bring industrial changes in the transportation sector.
