In six months, the high speed Wi-Fi internet connection in 1780 institutions of Bhola district will be set up. Moreover, the construction of a Joy Smart Service Employment Center in 6 upazilas will also be over within next one year. Furthermore, the establishment of 110 more Sheikh Russell digital computer labs will be set up in next fiscal year and the construction of Sheikh Kamal IT Training Incubation Center, a six storied building in two acres of land will be completed within next two years.
The State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak conveyed this information in a discussion meeting held on Friday night after laying the foundation stone of Bhola Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center and Joy Smart Service Employment Training Center at Moylar Bagan of Sadar Upazila of the district on 1.8 acres of land.
Tofail Ahmed, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee of the Ministry of Commerce, joined the program as the chief guest.
In the event, the State Minister handed over a grant check of Tk. 50,000 to each of the 20 women entrepreneurs.
In his speech at the event, Zunaid Ahmed Palak expressed hope that smart citizens will lead the smart Bangladesh of the future by becoming proficient in technology education.
He said, technology must be used as a powerful tool if Bangabandhu’s unfinished economic liberation is to be achieved. Thieves are also now using 999 to get help. Smart Bangladesh is the future destination of the Digital Bangladesh. At that time, the government will be in your fist, in your smart phones.
Palak said, Sheikh Hasina’s government has no holiday. Along with political workers, administrative workers are also working till quarter past 11 on Fridays with a smile. Working seven days from dawn to midnight, not 9 to 5. This is the secret of Sheikh Hasina’s government.
