The newly announced budget will help in building Smart Bangladesh. The Institution of Engineers is committed to stand by the government in building a smart Bangladesh.
The newly elected Executive Committee and Council members of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) expressed his opinion while laying flowers and paying respects at the mausoleum of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara, Gopalganj on Saturday (June 3).
The newly elected president of IEB and Secretary of Science and Technology Affairs of Bangladesh Awami League Engineer Md. Abdus Sabur said, the engineering society of the country is committed to build a smart Bangladesh by 2041. IEB will always work to improve the skills of engineers to implement Smart Bangladesh.
IEB Honorary General Secretary Engineer S. M. Manjurul Haque Manjur said that engineers are one of the craftsmen to maintain the spirit of the liberation war and implement Smart Bangladesh. IEB will continue to support the overall service and welfare of engineers as in the past.
The immediate past General Secretary and IEB Vice-President (Services and Welfare) Engineer Md. Shahadat Hossain Shiblu said, IEB is the institution of 70 thousand engineers of this country. IEB will work for any need of engineers to build the Sonar Bangla of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Smart Bangladesh of the government.
This time IEB’s newly elected Vice-President Engineer Kazi Khairul Bashar, Engineer Md. Nuruzzaman, Engineer Khandaker Manzoor Morshed. Newly elected assistant general secretary Engineer Md. Abul Kalam Hazari, Engineer Md. Ronak Ahsan, Engineer Amit Kumar Chakraborty and Engineer Sheikh Tajul Islam Tuhin, IEB Dhaka Center Chairman Engineer Mohammad Hossain, Editor Engineer Nazrul Islam along with the newly elected engineers of the Central Council, Chairman, Vice Chairman and Editors of various departments, centers and sub-centres were present.
At the same time, newly elected members of IEB women’s committee chairperson Yasmin Rahman, co-chairperson Parveen Sultana, Urani Islam and member secretary Asma Manju laid flowers at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
