Elon Musk’s company SpaceX has sent 56 new Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit. This is their 31st successful orbital mission this year. The satellite was launched recently from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
The satellites are launched into their designated orbits by the Falcon Nine rocket. And the Falcon Nine successfully launched the first stage back to Earth and landed on a SpaceX drone-ship, the company’s 11th successful rocket launch and landing.
For now, these Internet satellites will remain in their own orbits in space and will help the company to provide faster and better broadband services in the future.
Starlink currently has about 4,400 artificial satellites in space. Of these, the number of active satellites is more than 4,000. The company continues to increase this number with each of its successful launches.
